A practical clinical advantage

Change the camera angle.
Not the procedure.

Traditional manual field cameras require somebody to approach and physically reposition the unit. Three-axis systems improve movement, but can still leave a compromised angle when the line of sight is blocked. SM-SC4K-H adds a fourth motorized axis, giving the operator more freedom to restore the view from outside the sterile field.

Four independent motorized movements.

Fine positioning is handled remotely. When a clinician moves, a monitor arm changes position, or the camera loses the working area, the view can be corrected without interrupting the surgical team.

Planning a Hybrid OR, DSA room or surgical suite?

Why use four motorized axes?

The additional motorized freedom gives the operator more positioning options when the original view is blocked or the camera must move around clinicians and suspended equipment.

Can it be controlled outside the radiation zone?

The supplied 2.4 GHz controller supports remote operation at more than five metres in suitable conditions, helping teams avoid unnecessary approaches during imaging procedures. Local radiation-safety protocols always apply.

Can it connect to a recorder or OR video system?

Yes. The camera provides HDMI-A video output and RS-485 / Sony VISCA control. We can review compatibility with your recorder, monitor or integration system.

Can the mount be adapted to our ceiling arm?

Yes. Ondal and Dräger options are available, and project-specific mechanical interfaces can be evaluated from drawings or measurements.
