SURGICAL IN-LIGHT CAMERA

Wireless Center-Mounted Surgical Light Camera

Installed at the center of a compatible surgical light, the camera provides a direct overhead view for live display, recording, teaching and OR integration. Also referred to as an integrated surgical-light camera or in-light surgical camera, each mechanical structure is matched to the specific light platform.

THE VIEW MOVES WITH THE LIGHT

An overhead perspective built into the existing OR workflow.

Installed at the light head’s central position, the camera remains aligned with the illuminated working area as the surgical light is repositioned.

01

Aligned field of view

A direct overhead perspective for external surgical-field visualization.

02

Cleaner room layout

Avoids adding a separate ceiling camera arm when the light platform is suitable.

03

Wireless video path

Reduces the need to route a moving video cable through the light suspension.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

A complete wireless camera system for surgical-light integration.

The system combines the matched center-mounted camera with the accessories required for sterile handling, wireless video reception and camera control.

INSTALLATION EXAMPLE

Integrated into the center of the surgical light.

This real installation shows the camera mounted in the light head’s central position, replacing the conventional center-handle assembly while maintaining an overhead view of the illuminated surgical field.

Matched mechanical structureThe camera housing and adapter are selected according to the exact light model.

Existing OR video workflowThe wireless receiver can connect to a monitor, recorder or compatible OR video system.

BROAD PLATFORM COMPATIBILITY

Most mainstream surgical-light platforms are already covered.

Center-mounted cameras are not mechanically universal. We confirm the exact surgical-light model before quotation and supply the corresponding matched structure.

Examples of adapted surgical-light brands

Our compatibility library includes selected light platforms from leading manufacturers, allowing many projects to move directly from model confirmation to product supply.

Compatibility is confirmed by exact light model and generation. Brand inclusion does not mean every model uses the same mechanical interface.

● READY-TO-SUPPLY PATH

Your light model is already supported

For surgical-light platforms already in our adaptation library, we can provide the matched camera structure without repeating the mechanical design process.

  • Confirm brand, exact model and light-head photos
  • Match the existing camera housing and interface
  • Confirm wireless resolution and receiver connection
  • Proceed to configuration, quotation and production
● NEW ADAPTATION PATH

Your light model is new to us

Our engineering team can design a model-specific mechanical solution for a new surgical-light structure, subject to technical evaluation.

  • Review center-handle structure, dimensions and load conditions
  • Design housing, adapter and mechanical interface
  • Prototype and confirm fit with the light manufacturer or partner
  • Support OEM / ODM production after validation
Compatibility Note: Each camera structure is matched and verified according to the specific surgical-light model to ensure proper installation, movement and normal light operation.

CHOOSE THE VIDEO PRIORITY

MODEL CONFIRMATION WORKFLOW

From a light model to the correct camera structure.

A short compatibility check prevents incorrect assumptions and keeps the project quotation accurate.

01

Identify the light

Share brand, exact model, manufacturing generation and installation country.

02

Send reference photos

Front, rear and side views of the light head, plus the center handle or camera interface.

03

Confirm the path

We check our existing adaptation library or define a new engineering project.

04

Finalize configuration

Select 1080p60 or 4K30, receiver connection, quantity and project documents.

FAQ

Questions before compatibility confirmation.

Can one camera structure fit every surgical light?

No. The center structure, handle interface, internal space, power method and load conditions vary across brands, models and generations. We confirm the exact light model before supply.

What if you have already adapted our surgical light?

After verifying the exact model and photos, we can select the corresponding existing design and prepare the correct camera configuration without repeating the structural design stage.

Can you develop a version for a new light model?

Yes. OEM / ODM adaptation is available after technical evaluation. Drawings, samples or detailed interface measurements may be required for reliable design and validation.

Which video specification should we choose?

Choose 1080p60 when smooth motion and standard HD workflows are the priority. Choose 4K30 when higher visible detail and 4K recording or display are more important.

Does the camera include a surgical light?

No. This page describes the camera system and the matched integration structure. The surgical light is normally supplied by the hospital, distributor or light manufacturer unless a separate project scope is confirmed.

What should we send for a compatibility check?

Please provide the surgical-light brand, exact model, clear photos of the light head and center handle area, quantity, country, preferred resolution and intended display or recording connection.
