Camera and light, working together

A practical first-person view aligned with the illuminated field.

The front module combines a surgical headlight and a compact 4K camera positioned close to the same viewing axis. When the wearer aims the light at the working area, the camera view follows the same direction, reducing repeated framing adjustments during procedures.

  • Camera positioned close to the surgeon’s line of sight
  • Integrated LED illumination for near-field recording
  • Manual focus adjustment for the intended working distance
  • Adjustable headband for stable and comfortable positioning
  • Hands-free image capture for teaching and documentation

Why coaxial design matters

Keep illumination and imaging closely aligned.

In close and angle-sensitive procedures, a large separation between the light and camera can produce a mismatch between the illuminated area and the recorded view. The coaxial structure reduces that offset, helping the recording better reflect the operator’s real working direction.

Common questions

FAQ for product evaluation.

What is a coaxial surgical headlight camera?

It is a head-mounted imaging system in which the camera and headlight are positioned close to the same viewing axis. This helps keep the illuminated working field near the center of the recorded image.

Does the system support 4K recording?

Yes. It supports local recording at 3840 × 2160 @30fps to a high-speed TF card, without requiring an external computer for normal recording.

Can it output video to an external monitor or recorder?

Yes. HDMI real-time output can connect to a compatible display, surgical recorder, capture device, or teaching system.

Can users preview video wirelessly?

Yes. In the wireless configuration, the system creates a Wi-Fi hotspot for preview on a compatible phone or tablet. HDMI output stops when Wi-Fi preview mode is active.

How are recorded files exported?

Users can remove the TF card and use a card reader, or connect the rear head-mounted module to a computer using a data-capable Type-C cable after recording has stopped.

Is the system suitable for deep surgical fields?

The closely aligned illumination and imaging directions can be useful for selected deep and narrow working fields. The lens, working distance, field of view, and illumination should be evaluated for the intended specialty and procedure.

What information is needed for a quotation?
